PhenoBooth is a fast and easy-to-operate colony counting and analysis platform, which can easily analyze various types of colonies on agar. It is suitable for the counting and analysis of various types of microorganisms such as yeast, fungi, bacteria, and algae. The platform adopts a simplified cube design, integrates scientific-grade 13 million pixel high-resolution cameras and SpectraStar multi-channel lighting, and integrates the upper incident light, the lower penetrating light, and the blue and ultraviolet fluorescent lighting in length, width, and height. In a 30cm cube, high-resolution colony images can be easily obtained with a single key operation. The system uses a 15.6-inch touch-sensitive computer and a graphical operation interface. PhenoBooth is very easy to operate. Analytical applications include colony counting, growth curve, fluorescence detection (BFP / GFP / YFP), serum bactericidal activity test (Serum Bactericidal Assay), opsonophagocytic killing Assay, Spiral Plate Analysis, single Phase immune radiation diffusion method (Single Radial Immunodiffusion) and Salmonella reverse mutation test (Ames Test). All the numerical information of the colonies in the image can be output in the CSV file format, which is convenient for the user to do statistical analysis of large data.
